School summary
This is the third school organized within the framework of the NICE RTN (Network for Ice Sheet and Climate Evolution Research Training
Network).
The two previous schools were devoted to climate sciences per-se.
The first one was more focused on
the Archives of the Climate Changes and
took place in October 2008 in Poznan. The second NICE school was
focused on Climate Modeling and took place in January 2009 in Aussois.
The Giens spring school will focus on:
- What are the impacts of climate change
- How climate changes are presented in the media
- How it is possible to make our scientific results understood by a
larger audience
- Adaptation and integrated approaches
- Economic consequences
